Detailed? It reads like one big PR piece for Microsoft. Bleurgh. I expect more out of Tom's Hardware.

I won't visit the site anymore, either. This site is way too "friendly" with Nvidia.

I skimmed the major points of the article, and as you guys say it was definitely biased. When it actually did have something bad to say about the Xbox it never went into as much detail compared to the well-colored good points, and that's a BIG understatement.
One issue I'll comment on is the fact that the Xbox will cost € 480 in Europe which is about $417 USD. [IMG] Any Europeans planning on getting a PAL 'box?

What's the Nvidia Bias? Are you saying that Tom's benchmarks lie?

Well, he just reviewed the Raedeon 7500, and all the ATI cards kicked the comparable NVidia product's ass

I do think the XBox review is butt-kissing though. He's never been much of a console person, and doesn't understand them at all

Here's a link that may or may not be worth looking at. It's the best I could find with a quick search. It's been a long time, but I remember claims of him being favorable to NVidia due to financial support, and test methods that clearly favored NVidia at the time.

Dan gave some decent examples there...

Suffice it to say that I don't look to his website anymore if I want an unbiased review. Maybe he has improved his objectivity, but the damage has been done.

    I'll sooner go to Anandtech...

I may be in the minority here, but I've read through the review and I don't think it's biased. Perhaps he went a little heavy on the PS2 bashing, but he hasn't said anything that hasn't been said before.
