Oh how I love this movie. It's the perfect combination of hilarious, good-natured, and subversive. It twists the production code rules around its clever plot in much the same way that Hitchcock would do with Notorious, albeit with a goal to make you laugh rather than keep you in suspense.

It's just one of the greatest movies ever made, and I think it's better than the other Sturges overall. It's just such insanity, and the jokes and gags just keep coming...
