This is one of the movies I most dislike that just happen to have amazing talent attached to them; I equate MEN'S CLUB to HALF-MOON STREET, TARGET (1985), Disney's WESTWARD HO THE WAGONS and LT. ROBIN CRUSOE, U.S.N., and a fair number of other films that felt like a very regrettable waste of my time.
Peter Medak has made some cool movies (THE CHANGELING (1979), THE RULING CLASS, LET HIM HAVE IT, THE KRAYS), but a number of duds as well, like SPECIES II, and this one in particular. For many years since he has been mostly involved with t.v. shows such as CARNIVALE, BREAKING BAD and THE GUARDIAN.
Incredibly waste of talent involved in so many films that one would have predicted at the time as "can not fail" productions.
