Yup, I'd forgotten about those. Born to Kill, Clash By Night, Crossfire, Dillinger, The Narrow Margin and Point Blank have all been removed.

Ditto Quartet. Steve and Joe's corrections have been added.

Also, thanks to Robert C. for his contributions:

Delete the following because they're out on dvd:

The Turning Point
The Star Chamber
California Split
Body and Soul
(1981)
The Creature Walks Among Us
A Kiss Before Dying
Paradise Alley
The Time of Their Lives
Yanks
The Long Ships
Since You Went Away
Street Smart
Quick and the Dead
(1987)

Reassign these title to Warner:

Boys Town
Fort Apache

From MGM to Warner:

The Citadel (1938)
The Cobweb (1950)
Julius Caesar (1953)
The Pirate (1948)
Rose Marie
A Stranger in Town

Reassign to Misc.:

-Also removed Disney's Cinderella, which is coming this October.

3 movies I'd like to see added to the list(s):

20th Century Fox:
Caprice (1967)

Warner Bros.:
Romance on the High Seas (1948) and
Storm Warning (1951)

Also, I noticed that Raggedy Man was still listed under Universal, even though it was released on DVD last December (albeit in full-frame only, so maybe that makes the difference.)

Thanks!

Disney - In Search of the Castaways, Strongest Man in the World & That Darn Dat are out now.

Under Misc. Sabrina, the Teenage Witch has been out for a long time OOP maybe?

Also Capt. Nuke & the Bomber Boys is AKA Demolition Day, and is due out July 5th.

This has taken me a while to compile, and I am really surprised that some of these haven't been listed by now. These are the titles that I would like to see on DVD. The distributor/studio info came from IMDB. Most of these have been at least mentioned in threads, and a few are personal favorites. Some are supposed to come out this year, but no firm release dates have been made yet.

Mannequin: On the Move (1991)
Mr. Scoutmaster (1953)
Prudence & the Pill (1968)

Every Time We Say Goodbye (1986)
The Man From the Diner's Club (1963)

Scared Stiff (1953)
That's My Boy (1951)
Three Ring Circus (1954)

The Truth About Spring (1965)

Warner

Misc.

Coldblooded (1995)

I would dearly love to replace my aging VHS tapes with these titles on DVD:

Le Grand Chemin (1987) - Universal
La Lectrice (1988) - MGM
Mediterraneo (1991) - Miramax
Shirley Valentine (1989) - Paramount

Was happy to see some other favorites already on the list: Olivier, Olivier; Les Miserables (1995), Raise the Red Lantern and Qiu Ju.

Recently or soon to be released:

"The Cincinatti Kid" was released earlier this year by Warner.

"Head Office" was recently released by HBO Video.

"Wise Guys", "Hero At Large", "Christmas In Connecticut", "Boys Town", "The Nuns' Story" and "Quick Change" are all being released this year by Warner Brothers, so they can be removed from the list.

"Dance With Me, Henry", "Jinxed!" and "Crack House" was released by MGM recently. "National Lampoon Goes To The Movies" was recently released by MGM under the title " National Lampoon's Movie Madness".
-------------------
Switches:

If Jensen-Farley titles are now under control of MGM/Sony, I would either move or add "Wacko" to the list.

"Misunderstood", "Welcome To Hard Times", "The Wheeler Dealers" and "Reckless" are owned by Warner Brothers through their acquisition of the Turner library. I believe Warner might now also own "The Student Prince In Old Heidelburg".

"Jackknife" should be moved to the miscellaneous section because it was produced by Kings' Road and is probably now owned by Artisan.

"Carny" is on both the Fox and Warner lists. It should be removed from the Fox list since the rights now reside with Warner Brothers.

"Lisa" is owned by MGM.
===============

There's plenty more where that came from, but I'll get to it over the course of time.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff...

Finally, my movie knowledge is being put to good use.

I know that a version of HARRY & TONTO (aka on the list as HARRY AND TONTO) has been release just this month. I've purchased it as promised. Has there been any other releases from the list?
