I saw and enjoyed this movie last night, the plot was surprisingly similar to that of News Of The World.

Just saw a new Liam Neeson action movie few days ago, how many action movies he can make in a year?

Just saw this. Very solid movie. One of his better recent movies. A lot more exciting and dramatic than what I was expecting.

There were some things I didn't buy.
At the end, why would the hardened main criminal be a "good guy" and give him his medal? And more importantly why take the gun and kill himself? He would have tried one last time to kill them. Very stupid to give him a loaded gun.

A direct recent comparison would be with Cry Macho. I enjoyed this (The Marksman) a lot more.

Oh and the dog was a star too! He was so quite and elegant!

Neeson does about 2 movies a year - that's not especially prolific.

I saw some but not all of those.

I'd have gone with "Apex" because that's the one that goes to the most comical extremes to hide Willis's lack of interaction with his co-stars.

IIRC, there's literally one very very brief shot where Willis inhabits the same frame as someone who isn't a double.

Kinda feels like Willis risks making himself a laughingstock with all these phoned-in movies, but I guess he doesn't care.

He works 1-2 days - I assume - and collects his checks.

At least I got why Nic Cage did so many bad DTV movies: he was in debt!

I'm unaware of similar financial issues for Willis. Maybe he just figures he's not quite rich enough!
