As Adam Corolla would say, "How Dare you!" How dare you get my hopes up like this.

NewsRadio and the Man Show in the same year... no way. It's too recockulous to even fathom the possibilities.

Only one problem with that information....

"The Complete First Season" was 22 episodes...

101 Oprahization
102 They Don't Want Sex As Much As We Do
103 Bad Old Days
104 Appearances
105 Bathroom
106 Drinking
107 Wedding
108 Mysteries of Women
109 Bets/Zembic
110 Compilation Show I
111 Jobs
112 Thanks Man Show
113 Underwear
114 Sports
115 Presents
116 The Woman Show
117 Practical Jokes
118 Holiday Show
119 Millennium
120 New Year's Resolution Show
121 Compilation Show II
122 Superbowl Show

#110 and #121 were "best of's" (with new linking footage) but that should still be 20.

Verify???

Well the thread's title is "The Man Show Season One Volume One" ;) If Volume One sells well, there might be a Volume Two with the other eight episodes I'm guessing. Why they just don't put all 22 episodes in a 3 - 4 disc set is beyond me.

To make this DVD release fantastic (if true) would be uncensored nudity, riiiight? :)

Well if anything, lets hope this thread starts some sort of chain reaction to whomever will be responsible for CC Dvds, to get their s**t together, and bring this program to my DVD player.

NOW!!!:emoji_thumbsup:

Dave,

source is me and I'm good for it, carry on :emoji_thumbsup:
Sorry, can't ask Gord to post a news item based on just that. How do you know this? Do you work for this Eaglevision (can't claim to recognize the company name off the top of my head)? Is there a press release you can point me toward or e-mail to me?

I certainly don't want any of that to come off as insulting; it's not my intention. But this isn't unfortunately either a trusting world or a trusting world wide web. :D

I gave you what I know, take it for what it's worth or dismiss it.
I come here to discuss dvds and other forms of entertainment, not work. I do not work for Eaglevision.

As to the confusion about episodes, I do not believe all 21 episodes aired during the 'first season', maybe the first 'year'. I think the 3 dvd set will consist of the first 10 episodes (not 14 as originally stated) that aired from June 99 ending in the August 99 best of episode. Episode 11 did not air until later that November. At approx 180 minutes for the 3 disc set this would make sense. Sorry for any confusion.

Eagle Vision is also part of a corporate family that puts out an excellent series of off-beat artists' concerts under the Eagle Rock Entertainment banner. London-based Eagle Rock Entertainment Ltd. is the parent company with Eagle Rock, Eagle Vision and Eagle Eye Media its subsidiary labels.

well, this is getting interesting.... checking on the Comedy Central website I got this listing for the broadcast order of the first season...

06.16.99 101 Oprahization
06.23.99 102 They Don't Want Sex As Much As We Do
06.30.99 103 Bad Old Days
06.30.99 104 Appearances
07.07.99 109 Bets/Zembic
07.14.99 105 Bathroom
07.21.99 106 Drinking
07.28.99 107 Wedding
08.04.99 114 Sports
08.11.99 110 Compilation Show I

11.03.99 111 Jobs
11.10.99 108 Mysteries of Women
11.17.99 113 Underwear
11.24.99 112 Thanks Man Show
12.01.99 116 The Woman Show
12.15.99 117 Practical Jokes
12.22.99 118 Holiday Show
12.29.99 119 Millennium
12.31.99 120 New Year's Resolution Show
01.05.00 121 Compilation Show II
01.26.00 122 Superbowl Show

which does match up with what MatS said... 10 eps, a break and then 11 more...

ONE SMALL PROBLEM....

notice something missing on that broadcast order list?? Production #115. For some bizzare reason, Comedy Central (to my knowledge) has never repeated that episode and omits it from the episode guide. It HAS however run on the Comedy Network in Canada (and I have a copy). It SHOULD be two volumes of 11 eps each, with the compilation episodes being 1 hours each (they are trimmed to 1/2 hour on repeats) so you end up with (the equivalent of) 12 1/2 hours per volume.

Curiouser and Curiouser...

would someone with 'connections' like to check into this and have some independent verification (no offense to MatS, but there are some interesting weirdness here) since the release is only about what? 6 weeks away, there should be something concrete available (including the 'uncensored' option??).

Well, I live in the US, and I can vividly remember seeing that episode, if it is indeed the "lost" 115. How could one forget seeing Fox chug a beer upside down? The Andre the Giant segment was pretty memorable as well, as, if I recall correctly, they had a little person come out and accept his award, since Andre is sadly no longer with us. So, it did air in America; how many times it was repeated here, I don't know.
