Maybe they can colorize MAGNIFICENT AMBERSONS and throw-in MEXICAN SPITFIRE SEES A GHOST, the film that it originally premiered with?

If you're curious to see how Orson Welles' full-length version played out, this 2002 A & E telefilm is based on his original full-length script:

http://www.amazon.com/Magnificent-Ambersons-Madeleine-Stowe/dp/B00005UW73/ref=sr_1_2?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1306252709&sr=1-2

A labor of love from director Alfonso Arau running about 150 minutes.

Well done and interesting.

With all his films combined, Orson Welles never had a budget as big as that in his life.

When has WHV ever done anything but port over DVD extras for their catalog Blu-rays? This has always been the case, it's just that other titles like Casablanca and Gone with the Wind had extensive DVD extras to port over. Sure, the other Kubrick's had new bonus, but those had DVD re-issues at the same time, too, something Lolita and Barry Lyndon are NOT getting.

And dump that dreary Bernard Herrmann score with something more contemporary by Hans Zimmer!
