USA Home Entertainment, what is the status?
Now that Mulholland Drive is coming out, Artisan is doing the series, MGM has "rediscovered" their rights for Wild at Heart, reissuing an SE of Blue Velvet,Paramount doing Elephant Man, Eraserhead to be released by Lynch himself...
Is this a good time for a product launch (nudge nudge wink wink)

I was wondering about this as well... until I realized that USA Films has the rights and they're about as timely in releasing product as George Lucas is.
I mean, even Series 7 got pushed back-- three whole months! Jeez.
Glad I still have the LD, even though the transfer is very weak.

Lynch fans:
Visit www.dugpa.com for an indepth interview of Lynch's sound engineer, John Neff, where he discuss various status of Lynch related DVD in production.
Not all good news, though one still hopes that with the raves for Mulholland Drive, studios might reconsider doing something more than sitting on them.

I've have been anxiously awaiting The Lost Highway and also a special edition of The Straight Story. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could get a David Lynch box set with said titles?
I believe there is a box set in Japan. Does anyone know which movies it has?

As for the bad rap about the characters--hey, I've seen space operas that put their emphasis on human personalities and relationships. They're called "Star Trek" movies. Give me transparent underwater cities and vast hollow senatorial spheres any day. --Roger Ebert on The Phantom Menace

I can hardly wait to buy Lost Highway Special Edition on DVD. It's been a long time since the news first surfaced. I hope it gets released soon! I'm getting tired of having to watch my Widescreen VHS version. :)
