When I started the "Being There" topic, I was surprised to see that there has been no topic or HTF review on "The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers". Thought to start a topic here and bring this to attention. This DVD has been released for 2 months now. Anyway open for discussion about this DVD. In short Geoffrey Rush is stunning as Peter Sellers. I was very surprised by this movie and wasn’t expecting something like this. This is actually a dark, sad and depressing movie. It doesn’t show Peter Sellers as a nice person, you might even say he is really insecure and mean to everyone around him but nevertheless I liked this movie very much and don’t look too much into finding out how much truth is in it. I just look at it as a character study of the human spirit!
