At one point I thought Kristen Wiig is going to be a short guest and killed off in this one.

Surviving on an island could be a nice long story arc but it seems that there are already people there.

This must be the first time since Downton Abbey that a main TV character has threatened to eat a dog's butthole.

I figured the solution to the Pamela problem was going to be to leave her on the island with Glenn, figuring Glenn would decide there was nothing for him to go back to. In the real world, that would be a mad decision; even if I had nothing to go home to, it'd be better to be able to go anywhere I might choose than to be stuck on an island. But, it seemed the obvious answer until it wasn't.

We don't know if Glenn is immune. We might have a repeat of Mike once he's away from the isolation of the island

For that matter, do we know Wiigs character is immune? She spent the whole time in a bunker.

We do -- remember that she was also around not only her husband (who died), but also other victims like Laura Dern's character, before she entered the bunker. But yeah, I had the exact same thought about Glenn, re: it being another Mike-type situation.

That was a nice way of getting rid of your new characters without killing them every time you want to exit them.

New characters are gone, now what? They are at point zero. Nothing is left. There is no ongoing story. What to do next?

And the kid is underutilized. It's like he doesn't exist. He has no story.

4x05 La Abuela was a nice interesting idea.

I don't know, man. I think this show has lost a step this season. I didn't like Sunday's much at all. Not sure this one'll get a fifth season. Not sure I care.

I was worried that Armisen wouldn't be used effectively, that he'd just be goofy and wander off or die.

But that was great. And I'm almost positive he's going to be a babysitter. They could use this really well, in a sick and twisted way.

(But you know who they didn't use really well? Martin Short. Can you imagine what he could have done on this show?!?)

I get what you're saying, but recall Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm, Jack Black. I think they used him EXACTLY as intended.

I liked this last episode a lot. It was very funny at the beginning. One soup to share................... one spoon.

Have not finished this season yet. At least does it end properly or they didn't know it was canceled when they filmed the last episode?

Unfortunately, the last scene was a cliffhanger. I don't think they expected it to be canceled. Or, they did and chose to end with a big reveal that would have been hard for them to move forward without a big change to the vibe/tropes of the show.
