We provided the original aspect ratio documentation on this one.

I've seen bits of the transfer and it looks amazing, especially in the intended widescreen composition.

David Kawas at Classic Flix cares about film and is doing a fantastic job!

Glad to hear it, Bob! This is one of my all time favorite films, which thus far has appeared on home video in a fairly unfortunate state. It's not just the wrong aspect ratio, but especially the degraded elements and poor contrast that saddened me during the film's last release as an MGM MOD. I'm looking forward (guess I should say hopefully) to finally seeing an accurate representation of Lucien Ballard's incredible black & white photography.
