I just got a copy of the 400 Blows CC and The Killer CC. I want to make sure they are real. Can someone please post a picture of their disk artwork for me? It would be a big help. thanks

These are all over the internet.
Anyway, click the links below to be taken to the proper Criterion pages.

    Hope your DVDs are real.

Does anyone know the dates when these titles went out of print?

Even the Criterion page doesn't list them. I'm only asking because I have the Hard Boiled and This is Spinal Tap Criterion DVD's...and have found the ebay prices for The Killer much higher than those two. My guess is 400 Blows and Salo may have been earlier releases with lower production runs....but I don't know the reason for The Killer's inflated bids.

BTW, if anyone is looking for the best version of The 400 Blows (as opposed to a collectors item) the hands down winner, with a beautiful anamorphic widescreen and all sorts of amazing extras is the one from MK2. (R2-France)
(The Criterion DVD for this scope film is non-anamorphic).
    See: http://www.dvdfr.com/dvd/fiche.php3?id=3694
The above link says no subtitles, but don't panic, it does have English subtitles.

Thanks for the reply, but what Im looking for is pictures of the actual disks of the CC Killer and CC 400 Blows. If anyone has them, a link or post of the pics would be helpful. thanks.

    Tanner,
I think it is unlikely that you will find pictures of the actual discs.
I suggest you go to www.criterionco.com and send an email to Jon Mulvany, asking if there is some way to identify them as authentic. He will probably respond to you within a couple of days or so. He's quite good about that.
