'THE ITALIAN JOB' trailer gives too much away IMO.

I saw the really long trailer on E! and it just about gave away the entire plot! The film looks great, but I think the trailer may have spoiled it a little.

I hope that the director isn't of the same ridiculous opinion that movie audiences actually WANT to know these things in the trailers? Robert Zemeckis feels this way and it really sucks IMO.

    John,

You are correct! I saw the preimere few weeks ago and than watched the trailer. Unfortuanatley, the whole movie from beginning to the end is on it. This is the worst trailer I have ever seen for a movie. I recommend - save yourself money and go watch something else this summer.

There was a thread about this some time ago. So when the trailer showed before X2, I closed my ears I shut my eyes. How did I know it was this movie? I just knew, it had that feel to it...

However, I believe I read some spoiler around here, something about a bridge. Crap.

Saw this trailer before Phonebooth. I agree - horrid! I think it's a toss up between this and What Lies Beneath for worst trailer ever! [IMG]

I have to ecco the thoughts of Bruce. I saw a sneak preview of the movie (with a temp track), and the trailer gives away far too much. Too bad, because the last act has some well done stunts.

Who cares - I saw the original, and I'll see the remake. And I wanna buy a Mini next year.

I was really mad when I saw this trailer because it spoiled the entire film. I will NOT be seeing The Italian Job in the theater because I've seen everything in the trailer.
