Check the expiration or "best if used by" dates. They probably need to move them fast before they have to be discarded.

Why does regular milk have such short expiration windows but specialty milk like Lactaid can stay on the shelves 2 months?

Because it’s ultra-pasteurized at a higher temperature than regular milk, killing bacteria and giving it a longer shelf life. Kroger does this with their store brand pints and quarts of milk.
