The HTF 2003 DVD Challenge (1 Viewer)

My wife and I are in. We have 113 or so titles and are planning on viewing films via genre, which could drive each of us nuts, me via Jane Austin and her via slapstick.

I look forward to everyone's updates on how their progress is going.

Should we post here or start a new thread in Movies?? I never know where things like this belong?

While I'd be on the ten year plan, I signed up for the Challenge in my own wussified manner: to view all of the discs I acquire in 2003. I've found this has 2 salutary effects. I am generating a list of what I've watched over the year, which I find interesting already, and it has already put the brakes on DVD acquisition since I now have to think, well, am I going to have a chance to watch this in the next year? By asking myself that question, I then have the immediate followup, if not, why exactly am I buying this. Better than a 12-step plan, really.
