You're welcome, Tony. One additional clarification, though. They didn't do retakes. The reason Gleason used the Electronicam system rather than the standard 35mm cameras was that he really treated it as a live broadcast. They didn't stop for scene changes or retakes, so the films do reflect what the studio audience saw.
Isn't it amazing though, that arguably the finest season of television ever produced was shot without retakes, filmed at a rate of two episodes a week, and aired 39 episodes (three were held back for the fall, but they had been filmed with the others)? The conditions seem impossible, but the results were so outstanding. Glad you'll be enjoying this set for many years to come!
