Just been watching this forgotten 'classic' 80's action/sci-fi in widescreen, on FilmFour here in England. Must be at least 10 years since I've seen it and forgotten how good it was (in a 'B' movie kind of way). I know a R1 DVD is out with commentary, does anyone have it? Is it a decent transfer? Is it worth picking up a copy?

I own this title. The transfer is good, the sound is good, the commentary is good. I was actually quite surprised to see this film get the DVD treatment it did. Overall, a very satisfying edition.

If you like the film (which I do) the New Line DVD is a definite must-own. It has a nice new widescreen transfer, a re-mixed 5.1 soundtrack and an informative commentary track.
