Does anyone know if this flick will have the commentaries announced with the disc?

I read the review on DVDtalk.com and it seems not, but Amazon listed them. Are they hidden or did they just get dropped?

DVDEmpire has the back cover of the box scanned, and it has the following features listed:
    • Deleted Scenes with Director's Commentary
    • Cast and Crew Commentary
    • 16 x 9 Widescreen
    • Theatrical Trailer
    • English & Spanish Subtitles
    • 5.1 Dolby Digital

This is, in my opinion, one of the best films of last year... although it only got a very limited theatrical release. I'm definitely picking up this DVD next week, along with "Sex and Lucia" (also distributed by Trimark) the following week.

Thanks for the info. I'm really looking forward to this film and was hoping for a commentary. Good to see it is there.

Strange about the DVDtalk.com review. He must not of seen it.

Yeah, that's my review over there at DVD Talk. I checked the disc again. No cast/crew commentary.

Admittedly, this is a screener disc that came in a plain white envelope (no final packaging), so it's feasible that the commentary might have been added later. Strange, though, to have the deleted scenes with director commentary but not the feature-length commentary.

    There's no commentary.

Why the hell did they act with American accents?
Harvey Keitel seems to be the only one who tried to act.
The sound level is very low.
Compression ain't great in the dark scenes.

    disappointed. [IMG]

The commentary is on the deleted scenes only. Tim Blake Nelson kicks off the commentary by saying he chose not to do one on the feature itself, but wanted to explain what the deleted scenes were and why they weren't used, hence the five minutes of director commentary.
