Well, I thought it was funny when Emily and Nancy are in the taxi after getting off the train and Nancy is saying like "We need to get there as fast as possible, without speeding"

I have a bunch of Indian friends and they all tell me that it's crazy over there, there are no lanes, no rules, and no organization in driving in India. Very much like rural China, the one with the largest mass and loudest horn wins. And then there's Nancy describing how the taxi driver was honking constantly even though nobody was around... :)
Yeah, next weeks looks like more surprises...

"That guy is like three days older than...kerosene." Kerosene? what, huh? No matter it had me rolling. And then Kevin thinking he lost the clue, it was in the back of his pants, bwahahaha. Those guys are great!
Considering if you go for the Fast Forward and don't get it you are Waaaay behind I would think that either the Guidos or Nancy and Emily get eliminated. But given there is a "surprise ending" I am also thinking they don't.

Man I hate Team Guido. If I was gay I sure would be embarrassed! I don't like the way they play the game, but to some people, their strategy is valid. I am just not the kind of person who feels I need to screw the other guy to win. Of course, I don't win much.

I hope when Guido goes down, they go down hard! (If you know what I mean!)
Does anybody remember how much prize money is at stake? It better be a lot because these folks (with the possible exception of Frank and Margarita) don't seem to appreciate the experience they are having. They spend an awful lot of time complaining about how dirty everything is. As an American, it is a little embarrasing.
With the war and all, I doubt they will do this show again. If my health wasn't failing, I would be sorely tempted to apply to be a contestant on the next one. I'd think the experience would be amazing and as long as you just try to shoot for being next to last until the end, you should be able to accomplish things relatively stress free. It's funny that the people who have used the fast forward wind up getting an 11 or 12 hour jump on the competition, but then get bogged down because the next mission involves a place that have hours of operation, allowing the other teams to catch up. I wonder if anyone will ever be able to sustain a comfortable lead.
The rat shrine wouldn't have bothered me. They're just squirrels with bad PR!

It's mentioned during the opening credits: $1 million.
Speaking of the opening credits, I really like the theme song... :)

If I wasn't starting kidney dialysis soon David I'd take you up on the offer. I've been to Tokyo and most of Western Europe. With what I'm guessing is 5 or 6 episodes to go, I can't wait to see what countries they visit next.
At first I didn't like Frank of Frank and Margarita, but he has mellowed some. I'd root for the Mom and Daughter but I don't think they have much of a chance. I liked Lenny, but he had terrible taste in women!
