Who else is following this?
Things aren't going well for classic gamers... So far, upsets include Pac-Mac losing to Scorpion (which Penny Arcade documented on this strip) and Mega Man losing to Sephiroth.
And I was disappointed to see Sonic lose, but at least it was to a worthy opponent.
Well, the greatest battle is being fought right now. With about an hour to go, Mario and Cloud are separated by only 97 votes!

I've been watching this. The Sonic/Samus one (Samus won) only had 33 votes between the two.
