Hey you guys loved the original at least its not a remake/reboot & Donner/Spielberg/Colombus being involved guarantee's a certain standard of quality (I hope!).

They've kind-of, sort-of already done that with Super 8. I'm not sure The Goonies is mentioned, but it's a similar group of kids on a wild adventure.
