I don't know if any of you are a crazed fan like I am but this was one of those shows I would keel over in laughter every episode shown. Anyway here's a link http://www.goodiesruleok.com/news.ph...001ef6924c219d where it was announced on the official website that this will finally be coming to DVD. Supposed to be Feb or Mar 2003. I am hoping for Region 1. Anyway, many thanks to Steven Lanham in pointing this out to me. :emoji_thumbsup:

This is great! When the Young Ones DVD news came out it reminded me of The Goodies. It's been so long that the only thing I remember is Kitten Kong, but I remember enjoying the show quite a bit.

I vaguely remember the series, but the faces were forever burned into my subconcious, and all three were formerly members of BBC Radio's I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again series along with John Cleese, Jo Kendall, and David Hatch. Bill Oddie wrote the show's musical comedy numbers. Hilariously bad one-liners filled this great sketch comedy radio programme, and John Cleese eventually tired of the show for the same reason he tired of Monty Python - the show eventually became bogged down with recurring characterizations (such as Tim Brooke-Taylor's Lady Constance DeCovalette, and Oddie's Grimbling The Manservant) and catch-phrases, much like pops wrestlers get when their entrance music plays on WWF. Gawd, I loved that show.
