Actually, I'd like to know how the DVD looks, if anyone has a copy.

it's not that bad.
picture is pretty decent.
sound is VERY 'good' - as in very active, and dialnorm is NOT an issue. better sounding than Knight's Tale (which I found low and normal).
good demo for shotgun effects and panning.
more a road movie than vampires.
fairly original, decent cast.

Just returned it from renting it. It's fun enough and has a fairly nice 5.1 soundtrack with some directional effects that I really enjoyed.
I won't be buying it, but it was certainly worth the effort to watch.

I just rewatched this for my Hallowen-A-Thon, And I really liked this movie. I thought it was going to be pretty bad.
The picture and 5.1 sound is really great!
I haven't had a chance to watch the extras or listen to the commentary tho-.
Give it a look today if you can!

It started out decent but got really bad. The main vampire was one of the worst actors I have seen in a long time. It was a really bad version of the Lost Boys.
Pick up Ginger Snaps instead.

Actually, I found it to be a lesser version of Near Dark...but that's my opinion.

I liked it, it was a pretty good vampire flick, but I'm partial to vampire movies. The picture is pretty good for a night movie and the sound isnt have bad either. I would recommend the film if you a vampire buff, other than that it would make good rental.

I just watched it last night. The story itself is pretty good, I enjoyed it. REAL good sound, very active rears and sub. Like most movies, I don't sit around and over analize the picture. There was nothing that distracted me so I would have to say it looked good as well.
The way it ended it left itself wide open for a sequel. I found myself hoping they would make one.
