I keep seeing listing for a January 9th 2007 release. Is this just a re-release of the past movie's special edition or a new one? I never picked it up originally, so either way doesn't make much of a difference. But was just curious.

I'm assuming it's just a re-release. The original release was touted as a Collector's Edition as well. I think it's a great version as is, with really good extras. I especially like the side-by-side screen comparison of the opening montage of both the cartoon and the movie. I loved the making-of documentary as well.

I'm glad you pointed out the rerelease as I hadn't seen it listed anywhere. I lost my copy in Hurricane Charley & hadn't replaced it (since as it was oop). Now I just checked DDD & they've got it for a great price of $9.43. As Andrew said it is a really nice CE & I'll be happy to finally have it back in my collection.
