It's pretty easy actually. You will realize that all numbers you get with the calculation are dividable by 9.

Example:

60 > 6 + 0 = 6 > 60 - 6 = 54 (which is 9*6)
61 > 6 + 1 = 7 > 61 - 7 = 54 (which is 9*6)
62 > 6 + 2 = 8 > 62 - 8 = 54 (which is 9*6)
63 > 6 + 3 = 6 > 63 - 9 = 54 (which is 9*6)

...

70 > 7 + 0 = 7 > 70 - 7 = 63 (which is 9*7)

...

So if you look at the table you'll see that all numbers dividable by 9 show the same icon.

The table of symbols refreshes every time you make a 'guess', so even though you appear to get different symbols correctly, they're always sitting next to the same numbers.
