Since there isn't any thread about this label, I thought to start one, because it seems it releases high profile titles on bluray and foreign films at that.

Upcoming titles in 2017 include the Oscar awarded for Best foreigh film, Pelle the Conqueror!

There is a word about Sissi trilogy coming in 2017 too, but I don't see any announcement from Film Movement themselves anywhere..I am not sure where did those news come from.

Since Criterion doesn't seem interested in releasing these, I would hope for some other foreign films like Theo Angelopoulos films, Death In Venice, Cyrano, Raise the Red Lanterns etc.

I hope an insider could come here so that we could have a similar discussion like in the Kino thread.

"Interest" might not be the issue on Criterion's part; rights, etc., may be. But I do support what FMC is doing.
