I want to get a discussion going on "The Facts of Life Reunion," which aired Sunday on ABC in the US.

Personally, I thought it was cute. It was hardly Shakespeare, but it had some amusing in-jokes and was true to character. It brought back a lot of fond memories.

One has to be familiar with the original show to get most of the jokes (i.e., George Clooney's brief 1985-1986 stint on the series).

D'oh! I'm so mad that I missed this. Anyone know if it will be re-aired up here in Canada?

    I missed it, too.

Which cast members returned for it?

I didn't watch it. Of the long-time regulars, Mrs. Garret, Tootie, Natalie, and Blair came back. Nancy McKeon (Joe) wanted no part of it.

I doubt they asked George Clooney or Molly Ringwald.

    Just watched it tonight (Thanksgiving)....

I thought they did a wonderful job in making you feel like it hasn't been since 1988 that you last saw these folks together. Though I would have loved to have Nancy back, hopefully she will return should ABC choose to again visit this 'family'....and hopefully they will. Was nice to have them back together again.

(I have to admit though, it was nice that they mentioned "George"...but they could have at least said what Beverly Anne and Andy were up to these days. Thank God they forgot Pippa!)
