I don't know if any of you have downloaded or upgraded the new 2.0 version of the Google Toolbar yet, but I highly recommend it. I had the older version for quite awhile and found it useful, but nothing spectacular. The new version however, has implemented some very nice features. The two I like the most are the ability to customize it to have all searches open in a new window (or not)... very nice for keeping your place on a page, when you need to search for something else. The other, and for me the best, feature is the new pop-up blocker that is included. It works better than any pop-up stopper software I have used - in two weeks of using it, I have not had a single unwanted pop-up, and I can't think of a single link that I wanted to work that was blocked. However, it is also very easy to selectively block/un-block pop-ups as needed. For instance, if you click a link that opens in a new window but is blocked by Google, you can either CTRL-Click to open it this one time, or you can click the pop-up blocker icon on the Google toolbar which toggles on/off the feature for whatever site you are on... this works great! Okay, enough sharing... now just go and download it! It's free!
