I actually stumbled across this the other day. Its the story of our ex-CEO, Gaston Bastiens. He now sits in a Belgian prison after being extradicted from the USA to Belgium on numerous charges (do a search for his name and you'll see): financial fraud, insider dealing, stock market
manipulation, violation of bookkeeping laws and swindling (he drove the company into the state its in now).
Anyway, everyone at the company looks at him as being "the scum of the universe." There are several employees who wish that they could have 5 minutes alone with him. His name is uttered with hatred and impunity.
I heard rumors that there were pictures of him as he was being arrested, so I went to google and searched. What I found was very very interesting. According to several different sites, Gaston was one of the two pioneers of the DVD industry. I guess he's not compeltely worthless after all.
