    Hi Jonas...

Congrats on the great room! I very much enjoy seeing what others have done in their basements. You've made mention of more pictures coming. May I ask that you get closeups of the equipment? I'm the type who likes to see what others are using, and also how they have implemented them into their rooms. Well done!

    Jonas,
Looks great? Is that a white painted screen just on the wall or is it parkland plastic or something along that lines?

Let us know when you have more photos.

Is the room painted? or is that Felt?

    What 2 colors are those?

    Thanks!

Stacey: I'm actually working on an entire site dedicated to the theater to include a "how to" section as well as a section dedicated to the equipment.

Chad: It's a Glidden Misty Evening screen painted on wallboard, it works great. The room is painted now(acoustical treatment may follow). My fiance picked all of the colors - I just wanted a black ceiling and trim. The upper half of the walls is Martha Stewart "Heather", the bottom half is Laura Ashley "Storm Shadow." Both are shades of purple but really appear more grayish.

    Hi Jonas,

Quick question, how far away is the projector mounted from the screen?

    Thanks.

Jay, the projector is about 10-11 feet from the screen, I picked the correct joist space based on the projection calculator for the Z1 on projector central.com
