Strange there is no USA DVD release of this American Four Star show starring Robert Taylor with Mark Goddard, Adam West and Tige Andrews

The show is out on DVD in Germany but only with dubbed German sound and no original English soundtrack !

I've been watching the unrestored episodes on Talking Pictures channel here in the UK - where the show was originally aired as 'Captain of Detectives' many years ago

Talking Pictures have screened the three seasons including the half hour episodes

Hopefully one day the show will be restored and get a full USA DVD release...complete with original English soundtrack !

I've lately been transferring the episodes from old VHS copies, mostly recorded off of Bravo UK. I don't know what it is about Four Star shows but they have had far more airings in the UK over the last few decades than they ever had in the U.S. Saints and Sinners as well as quite a few others have had a few runs in the UK but haven't run in the US since their original network runs decades ago.

I don't live in the UK, wise guy. If it ran on a channel I got, you can be damn sure I would have recorded it (no one "tapes" anymore, nor hasn't in almost 2 decades)

So what you are saying is that you let a little water get in the way? I didn't think anything could prevent you from your pursuits to own every show ever made. I mean heck, some you've questioned for not recording a show when aired may not have even been born yet, but that didn't stop you from questioning their accountable for their loss.

20 years ago, maybe. At this point there are very few shows I would put that much effort into pursuing.

Don't make such sweeping generalizations. I taped up to 2015 until I dumped cable and had no more signal to record. I now have a DVR but I still play tapes.
