Okay, I admit I don't get it, after several viewings. Would someone please post a spoiler box that explains the last (completely unidentifiable, on my set anyway) shot in the movie THE DARK with Mario Bello and Sean Bean? Thanks!

From what I can remember, isn't she left in the world of the Dead whilst the evil girl returned to the world of the living by possessing her daughter ?
