So apparently Best Buy decided to break street date and sell these early. God Bless 'em. But there are some concerns.

First of all, there's a Comedy Central station logo on the bottom right corner of most of the footage throught the presentation of most episodes. Sometimes it goes away and sometimes it's away for most of the bonus stuff separate from the episodes but it's there and it's very ugly. Also, they decided to uncensor all the bleepage so language is all intact and uncut. I'm not a fan of censorship but in this case it was more funny. But whatevs. If they were gonna do that they could've at least took off the damn CC logo.

The special features aren't amazing but they're pretty funny. Along with the 4 DNC and 4 RNC episodes you get the debate episode and the "Prelude to a Recount". As far as I could tell there's only been a couple of pieces produced specifically for the DVD. There's 2 separate intros at the beginning of discs 1 & 2 that are chuckleworthy. But you can't fastforward through them and can only skip them altogether. There's a couple of commentaries for the separate pieces on disc 3. I haven't listened them all but the one I did was funny enough. Not informative in the slightest but amusing. And then there's the National Anthem. It's just all four correspondents singing the National Anthem in 4 part harmony. It actually sounds really good and there's not really a punchline. I'm happy that they included the "Continental Skiff Boat Oarsmen for Veracity" piece they produced for the last Emmys.

The packaging itself is simple with 3 slim cases in a cardboard box. Each case's colors are themed to whichever party they're covering. Disc 1 is blue with DNC, 2 red with RNC and 3 baby blue with a little bit of both.

    I'm Kevin Porter. John.
