Anybody else watching this? Compared to recent prestige science fiction shows, this feels very "TV". But the mythology and the mysteries they're introducing have me hooked. It's kind of like "The 4400" meets OG "Twin Peaks", with a smidge of "Travelers" thrown in.
I thought Natalie Martinez was woefully miscast on "Under the Dome" as the sheriff's deputy, because she completely failed to project authority. But I've been pleasantly surprised here. There's an intense directness to her performance that lends her a center of gravity she didn't have on the earlier show.
