3D Blu-ray not mentioned in the press release so I am uncertain if Amazon preorder will hold

I enjoyed the first movie and would have gone to the theater for the sequel in a non-COVID environment, so I'm looking forward to seeing this when the disc comes out. It is available now as one of Universal's $20 PVOD rentals, but it makes more sense for me to just wait for the disc rather than give up access after 48 hours.

There is also a 2-pack which combines the Blu-ray discs of the first film and the sequel. Because I never got around to buying the first one, that's what I have on order.

I wouldn't be shocked if there was a 3D MOD release. Dreamworks/Universal did the same thing last summer with their last film, Trolls World Tour. It does seem odd that the link at Amazon is lumped in with the various formats of the first film, though, rather than with the rest of the Croods 2 listings.

It's listed on the ALLIED VAUGHN/MovieZyng direct order site, so I think like Abominable it's definitely going to exist.

Like most of these pressed MOD, finding a really good price is nearly impossible, finding an acceptable price is hard enough (mid 20's). It's also listed at Bullmoose and a couple other retailers. i guess Amazon could always pull one of its disappearing acts and drop it, hide it, or delay shipping 8 weeks.

Target has a listing that has the correct UPC though the rest of the listing is botched. Waiting to see what Deep Discount will have near release -- sometimes they have decent prices esp if it overlaps with a 10-15% code
