Alright this show needs to be on dvd. I would instantly buy a copy of this great show. I don't know if I am alone on this one. If you think that the critic needs to be on dvd then respond to this post and show your support so that who ever owns it(I couldn't find any info on this) knows that there is a demand for this great show on dvd.

I loved this show...it's absolutely hysterical...
I also loved the Simpsons episode Jay Sherman showed up on...
"Ah, you're the guy who didn't know if he had a boil or a wart."
"It was a gummy bear."
-Jay and Homer.

Oh yes!! The Critic must come to DVD! First of all, it shouldn't have been cancelled, but since it has, I would certainly take the next best thing (season by season DVD release). And since there were only two seasons, and since syndication is not a problem (it's already on Comedy Central, and has been for years), I would hope to see this fine show come to DVD. Of course, commentaries wouldn't hurt.... :)

Wow, I'm surprised so many people like it. I always thought it was a series that thought it was better than the Simpsons but came nowhere close.
Guess it had its fans! :)

I also want the Critic on DVD.
As far as I know, JAY showed up on 2 episodes of the Simpsons. The one mentioned previously and the one where the Simpsons visit a mental hospital, and you see Jay in one of the holding cells, saying "It stinks! It stinks! It stinks! It stinks!"

Don't mind me I'm just bumping this up to the top

I loved to see the Critic again without having to watch it at midnight on a Sunday on cable. Hey, if Clerk the animated series, which was cancel got release on DVD successfully, then the Critic can do the same.

Wow! Another great show that should be on DVD.
It shouldn't NEED to be said, but just in case...
I'd HAVE to buy this if it were on DVD.

I know people don't like threat bumping but I thikn this one will go over ok. With the recent surge of support for tv shows on dvd with the TV Shows wanted threat being revived and the South Park threat I thought maybe I would try getting this one back up for anyone that may have missed it. So show your support for the critic on dvd. Thanks

Glad to see this topic bumped back up. THE CRITIC is one of the funniest TV shows ever and really needs to be available on DVD.

When it comes to the lack of "The Critic" on DVD...
IT STINKS!
Please, Columbia/TriStar, release it. You would make people happy.
Sincerely,
John Kilduff
