    Hallelujah!

Another fool-screen DVD I can retire when the anamorphic widescreen version is released.

The Commitments was one of the few DVDs I bought knowing that it was MAR'd.

I wondered why Best Buy seemed to be pushing this movie recently.

There was that ad in the flyer a couple of months ago, and recently the stock of the MAR release has been gaining shelf space. One of my local BB's had two rows of this on their shelves!

If any of y'all haven't seen this film yet, you're in for a treat; one of my all time favorites.

    "Who was that?"
"He came to spread the word of God."
    "On a fookin' Suzuki??"

    FINALLY, indeed! Hallelujah!

The features sound great and it's OAR.

Better late than never, Fox! [IMG] I'm all over this one.

That is great news. I like this movie so much, I purchased the P & S, 2.0 version when it first came out. I will gladly repurchase this new edition.

This movie is fantastic, the soundtrack is awesome. I can't believe Andrew Strong only was 17 at the time. Finally it gets the treatment it deserves. This will be my third copy of the movie having bought both the UK release (that sucked) and the Swedish release (not so bad, anamorphic widescreen, 5.1, music video, trailer and a documentary). I'm looking forward to hearing the commentary. [IMG]
