I look forward to viewing this again after a very long time. I haven’t seen it since it was first released in 1964. At that time I knew nothing about the film but recall being very impressed.

Just read on IMDB Joanne Woodward and Sandra Dee were cast and Woodward became pregnant and postponed and recast with Kerr and Mills. At one point Ingrid Bergman was cast in Kerr's role.......

I watched it about a year ago and loved it. I'll revisit it as soon as I can get my hands on the blu ray. What a cast! Edith Evans is just the icing on the cake.

I watched this for the first time today (I cannot remember this film being shown on television), excellent performances and production values. The Indicator blu ray has a different commentary but more extensive supplements and an informative booklet.
