    Greetings fellow Theater Gurus.
I suddenly got the urge to show off the current state of the
home theater my wife and I affectionately call "The Cave."
First, the home theater as it was....(in an apartment).
Now to the theater as it is now....(in the new house).
First, the front view. I love them Def. Techs!
    The equipment.
The back view. Notice I have bipole surrounds on the side
and direct surrounds across the back.

Anyway, I was watching Star Wars this past evening and with
the lights down, I felt as if I was one of the Pod Racers.
    Woof!
The theater is never done. "The Cave" is an obsessive work
    in progress.

P.S. Hopefully, there aren't too many images.

That's quite possibly the coziest HT I've ever seen! [IMG]
What equipment do you have there?

Are those cylinders in the corners, bass traps?

Man, that is the coziest, sweestest home theater I've ever seen. I bet ya if my setup was that cozy, my wife would probably let me get that widescreen, HD RPTV that I want. Simply, beatiful.

    Questions Answered:
    Equipment.
Sony KP53HS10 RPTV (Got it up to the second floor. Woof!)
    Denon 3802
Sony Phonograph (to play my LPs)
Sony NS700P DVD Player (replace maybe Xmas?)
    Sony Minidisc
    Def. Tech. 2004 Mains
    Def. Tech. CLR2000 Center
    Def. Tech. BP2X Surrounds (Side)
Cerwin Vega RL6 (old fellers - Back Surround) - for now.
    Def. Tech. 15tl SubWoofer.
X-10 Radio Shack Devices to automate the lights.
Radio Shack Rs-1594 Remote operates it all, even the lights.
Yes! Those are tube traps in the corners. They are DIY
traps I built a couple years ago with sonotubes, fiber
glass filler, material batting, and a fine denim like
material cover. It seems to help the base seem less
boomy and more refined in the Home theater.
Cozy! Seems to be everyone's comment. Maybe instead of
"The Cave" it should be "The Snuggle Cave!" Ha!

One question; what's that funny looking component on the top shelf? ;-)
Nice setup very cozy! But I think my wife and I would prefer a "love" seat rather than the 2 chairs.

Top Component: I guess they are getting hard to
identify -sigh-.... It is the phonograph/LP, record
player. I still have a modest collection of vinyl records.
Oh! Wait... you are being funny, eh? [IMG]
