PBS stations are airing hour long unedited episodes of The Carol Burnett Show on Saturday nights. I see it at 6pm Central time. Tonight was the third week. I don't know who is picking which episodes to air. Maybe Carol herself? Tonights guest was Paul Lynde, last week was Ethel Merman.

Now the antenna channel Decades is airing the hour long shows, with some minor edits, but the musical numbers are airing!

But they're not showing all the episodes. Odd that they and MeTV are both showing Carol Burnett weekdays. Usually when two stations are showing essentially the same series one has it on weekdays and the other on weekends (like The Honeymooners on MeTV (weekends, the classic 39) and Decades (weekdays, the lost episodes). Also, both MeTV (edited half-hours) and Decades (hour long) show episodes the other station doesn't.

It's kind of screwy! But it is fun to finally see some of the musical numbers. We finally got to see both of Barbara Eden's! One solo and one with Carol.
