This will probably appear on Kino Lorber's webstore for those outside the US who can't access Amazon
Space-Vision 3D? Yes, sir...count me in, too! I used the HTF link. When I was a kid I wore the grooves out of the vinyl on my copy of Drop Dead!, Arch Oboler's pseudo "Lights Out" radio show compilation!
That's a great album. I got mine from Captain Company.
Check out my article to find the connection between Capitol Records and Space-Vision:
I bought my copy at a local record store, but yeah, it was featured for years in the Captain Company advertising pages that were in the back of Warren magazines like Famous Monsters of Filmland, Spacemen, and Screen Thrills Illustrated. I can't tell you how many hours of my misspent youth were taken up by those pubs!
*One of my shortest posts ever at HTF.
Glad I preordered on 9/6. Price is now $31.47 on Amazon.
I pre-order too...but my cart price changed to $31.47. Will wait and see what they'll be charging when it's released.
Mine is $24.47 plus shipping and tax makes it $30.25 but, I plan on adding more titles to get the free shipping.
$18.99 at family home video.
Family Video also has Planet of the Vampires Blu-ray for only $16.99.
Is this a dependable company?
If so, I plan to order these discs from them.
Just Google them, this is what it says when i did that, they were founded in 1978.
Family Video is the largest video rental chain in the United States, and largest overall ahead of Blockbuster.
It looks like they have planned ahead, unlike Blockbuster Video, for the declining rental market.
Thanks. I am not familiar with their service, and just wanted to see if others have had positve results.
RolandL what did you type in to find the Bubble. I did preorder dragonfly squadron there a few weeks ago for 20.00 but can't find this one
I just typed in The Bubble and is comes up for 18.99
I also ordered Planet of the Vampires Blu-ray for 16.99
My first experience w/ FamilyVideo.com
I'm in NC, and I called a High Point, NC store just to talk to someone about their practices.
I mean ". . . it comes up for 18.99."
It is listed as
Bubble 3D Blu-ray Disc
so you might want to leave out "The" and simply search for Bubble 3D
but I did type in "The Bubble" and that works too
Thanks for all your help. Finally got it ordered no matter what I typed in it wouldn't take me there but when I clicked on the link it took me right to it.
I am very proud to announce that our restoration of THE BUBBLE will be screened on November 7 and November 9, 2014 in New York as part of "To Save and Project: the 12th MOMA International Festival of Film Preservation."
I hope that you can join us to see THE BUBBLE on the big screen!http://www.moma.org/visit/calendar/film_screenings/22249
Any idea what their shipping rates are like? If I buy Bubble and Dragonfly that's $40. What would be the shipping?
Shipping is $1.99 per order regardless of the number of disc.
so 1 disc order or 2 disc order has the same shipping costs.
sales tax is added to the product
Lowest prices that I have seen for both of these Blu-rays.
