I bought this from Amazon hoping it would be better than the endless public domain versions that scarcely look better than an off-air recording from the 1970s. But then I put it in my PS4, and the thing wouldn't even play! To think a Sony DVD won't play on a machine made by Sony! I tried it on everything else I own that plays DVDs, nothing worked. Guess I'll be exchanging it.

Am I the only one who has had this problem? It just seems odd too me, if not completely short-sighted and irresponsible, for this to happen.

It's possible it was just a bad burn. DVD-R discs can have bad discs from time to time. Since you bought it from Amazon, just give them a call or chat in with them and they'll send you a new one.
