Get it all!
HOLY CRAP... That's huge!!!
And how much is £449.99 exactly? That's over US $1000, right?
edit... well according to exchangerate.com, it's only $745.17. That makes more sense, but not much. You can buy the series separately for about that much. I was hoping they'd do this, but give us a break on the price. Here's hoping they at least will give us a break if/when they do it with the X-files..
Yup that pretty much sums up what I did when I clicked on that link
Holy Freaking Crap!!!
I would so buy that...except that I already purchased all the season sets. Dang it. Oh well, still enjoying my sets immensely.
Amazon.co.uk has it going only for £338.23
BTW, the set is only limited to 1000 copies worldwide.
Bloody hell, at that price it's 48 pounds a season, and less if you're outside the EU and don't have to pay VAT. Now I really wish I'd waited (already have all seven boxsets)...
And so, Paramount's tradition of repackaging Star Trek boldly continues.....
It wont be long now before my 40 individual volumes of TOS is considered passé.
I thought it was a new sub subwoofer series.
Just ordered it! The Amazon UK USA price today is 287.86 pounds (I don't have a pound key). When I get it, I'll just sell my box sets and probably end up roughly in the same place, financially speaking.
It sure would be nice if they offered the packaging for those folks who were early adopters!
This would have to be the 'mother of all double dips'.
I can play PAL, but prefer NTSC. Any NTSC version coming?
http://www.play.com has it for £338.
Not sure you can call this a "double dip" with only 1000 boxes coming out. More like the mother of all collectors editions?
Note that the ALT key must be held down, and the 156 typed in from the numeric keypad (NOT the numbers across the top of the main keyboard) before releasing the ALT key.
Hmm.. Now they need a Mega-Cube for NTSC Region 1 customers.
The cube itself (for $19.99) for people who have already bought the season sets.
Have to admit I'm not really 'sold' on the Cube.
Even if they sold it separately for $20, I'd pass.
My wife barely tolerates the fact that I buy the STTNG sets, let alone the idea of displaying a massive Borg Cube in the house.
Can't help but laugh as I write this...
