Interesting, I wonder if this is a pressed release, rather than the burned disc released in 2017.
Not that I will buy it. I recently watched my 2017 copy and the disc played fine. Great Capra film, BTW.

I believe that’s exactly what it is. Sony has shifted their Choice program from burned discs provided by retailers to small print runs of pressed discs like Warner Archive.

The quality of the burned version was fantastic, with the usual high quality Sony job of mastering the transfer. So any Capra completists who don’t own the prior edition should feel comfortable picking this up.
