From time to time, I will post threads to informed the membership about rare film showings of classic films by various movie channels such as Turner Classic Movies. The posted thread will be sticky for a very short period of time to give exposure to those interested in seeing or taping these film classics.
Tomorrow on Friday, February 8th, TCM is showing two of the best silent films ever made. One film is known as one of the of the greatest WWI films ever filmed and the other, a great drama from the silent screen era.
"The Big Parade" showing on TCM at 6:00 a.m. ET
"The Crowd" showing on TCM at 8:15 a.m. ET
Also some bonus films being shown on Saturday, February 9th on TCM are the following:
"Lady in the Lake" showing on TCM at 10:00 a.m. ET
(A classic film noir filmed with some interesting camera shot technics)
"Wagon Master" showing on TCM at 12:00 p.m. ET
(Another John Ford classic western film shot in glorious black and white)

Here is a movie I think might be of interest to some:

    Stalker--Friday at 11PM on TCM

Be sure to check your local TV listings for the exact time where you live.

    Thi,

You didn't have to edit your post. My displeasure was aimed at AMC and not your post. AMC used to be one of my favorite channels and now I don't even bother to look at what they're showing.

Darn! I have to spend an hour tonight re-hooking all my HT equipment because of TCM! [IMG]
I've wanted to see The Crowd ever since I saw a clip of it in "Hollywood."
TCM again is a cool channel. (AMC is a disgrace.)
