the best place to buy cheap speaker stands

    I have four bookshelf speaks. Where can find the cheapest speaker stands for them. One speaker is about 30 lbs.

    Cheapest? What do you consider cheap? Cheap-cheap = ubid. A month back, they had some stands for about $9/pr.
    If you want inexpensive and fairly good ones, check electroshops.com. I got some Sanus natural foundations (oak posts, black bases) for less than $100 and free shipping.

    check out www.audioadvisor.com They have lots of stands at a variety of prices. I got some stands from them awhile back.

    I use plaster columns I bought unfinished from Garden Ridge. About $13 each plus a can of $5 textured sandstone spraypaint.
    Click on the link in my signature, and you should be able to see a few pictures that include the stands. They are cheap, look good, do NOT resonate. They are a DIY project, but fairly simple.
