    From DVDFile:

"At long last for comedy fans, Warner Home Video will release the entire run of The Ben Stiller Show on June 3rd. While a huge cult favorite, the show never quite became a ratings success. Now, judge for yourself with this two disc-set, which includes every episode presented in 4:3 full screen and Dolby 2.0 stereo, plus a featurette, interviews and promo spots. Retail is $34.95."

I'll definitely be picking this up.

There were a couple threads about this earlier but the search is down. Anyway, this is one of the shows that I've been waiting for on DVD. Others may be waiting for the rest of Mad About You on DVD, I've been waiting for the thirteen episodes of one of the most under-rated sketch comedy shows of all time: THE BEN STILLER SHOW. I can't wait to watch "Ask Manson", "Skank", "Advatage Agassi" and "Oliver Stone Land" digitally. Getting this the day it comes out.
Didn't Ben say on 'Regis' that he'd done commentary for the shows? At any rate: It will be mine.
"I am an Indian, but I also represent death."
    "SHUT YOUR STINKIN TRAP!"

This was a very funny show. I loved his Die Hard parody.

I've never seen an episode, but I've heard so many good things about this that I can't wait to have it.

My personal favorite was always "Counting with Bruce Springsteen."

"UHN, TO, PHEE, FUNH, UNH, UNH, UNH, UNH..." [IMG]

I'm one of the lucky ones who caught ever episode (with the exception of the "lost 13th") in their initial run, and I'll be picking this up on its day of release. Thanks Warner!

I saw almost every episode. I loved the Last of the Mohicans Daniel Day Lewis Treadmill and the Die Hard parody in the grocery store w/ Bruce Willis riding around in a shopping cart. Great stuff!

If you want a preview of this show, check out the parody sketch on the Mission Impossible 2 DVD. I laugh just about every time, as I did with the series.

I especially liked the Eddie Munster/Cape Fear sketch.

Woo! Great news to hear...I had been wearing out my tape of the show (back when FX aired the entire series one night).

Favorite sketches have to be the U2 documentary (love that killer parody of "One"), the Bruce Springsteen skits ("Legends of" and "Counting With") and the Wilford Brimley commercials.

"Nonononononono...c'mon, do it. Nonononono, I'm serious, do it. Do it. Do it." Love that character. [IMG]

very very cool. Yeah, the Die Hard parady was great. I forgot that Skank was from the Ben Stiller show. Will be great to see that lovable rascal again.

Other good Ben Stiller shorts to look for on your favorite P2P service: "The H is O" (I think this was from SNL) and "The Backstreet Boyz" ('cuz they're from the street! yo. w/ Andy Dick).

The Digital Bits had this expanded list of specs that include the commentaries Ben talked about on Regis.

Also today, we have more details for you on Warner's The Ben Stiller Show DVD, which streets on 6/3. The 2-disc set will include all 12 episodes of the series, plus a previously unaired episode. And among the extras are 7 audio commentary tracks with the entire cast (including Ben Stiller and the writers), unaired sketches (with optional commentary), 10 outtakes, the A Brief History of The Ben Stiller Show featurette, the E! Behind the Scenes special, alternative versions of the pilot episode and the Melrose Heights special commentary Easter egg. SRP is $34.98. You fans of Mr. Show should find this right up your alley... ;-)

Looking forward to this one, but can anyone help me? There was a sketch that I thought was from MR SHOW, but it may have been from BEN STILLER.

It was sort of a biography of a guy (thought it was Ronnie Dobbs but it wasn't on the MR SHOW DVD so it may have been on Ben Stiller) and it kept showing the same shot of him dancing in a parking lot over and over. Showing it in slo-mo. It was very funny.

    Does anyone remember it?

Comedy Central recently aired 4 episodes that I Tivo'd. I thought the first one was really good (had the Cape Fear/Eddie Munster skit) but the next three episodes were pretty lame.

I had been planning on buying the DVD set sight unseen, but now i'm not too sure.

I still can't believe this is being released. I have all the episodes on VHS, but I'm buying the DVD as soon as it's out anyway. I rewatched it recently, and found that much of it held up very well. Some skits though, were based on TV commercials that ran in the early 90s, and while they are still funny, they were much better when the commercials were still fresh in my memory. Some of the original commericials I have forgotten completely except for the Ben Stiller Show parodies. Still, it's a great show and I'm really excited about this release that I thought I'd never see.
