Nah, "The Babe Ruth Story" with William Bendix is the top.The 1991 TV-movie "Babe Ruth" with Stephen Lang was the superior production about Ruth's life. This one was absolutely awful.
Hell, that's being too kind and I love William Bendix except in that movie.Top of the garbage heap only.
Warner controls the Lang film. Too bad they never made it available in the Archive program.
A chunk of horror movie fans seem to be nostalgic for VHS and maybe that would extend into other movies they saw as a kid but yeah, I can't see too many people being nostalgic not for this or Gorillas In The Mist in a fake side-loading VHS box. Best bet for Mill Creek is that the people who are nostalgic for VHS just pick up all the faux VHS releases.I suppose these companies know what they're doing, but are people really nostalgic for VHS (& their cases)?
Agreed. I think they're hoping that some people buy them just for the cases, but most of them will just buy it for the movie.A chunk of horror movie fans seem to be nostalgic for VHS and maybe that would extend into other movies they saw as a kid but yeah, I can't see too many people being nostalgic not for this or Gorillas In The Mist in a fake side-loading VHS box.
