Hi:

Does anybody know what's the deal with the Arthur C. Clark ''Ranma'' saga that supossed to be made by that Morgan Freeman film company.

If i remember correctly it's was going to be a CGI movie with high realism. I suddenly remember the project because i just read all the books and like a year ago i saw something on the web about the project, even some sketches and story boards.

There was a crappy site also..dont remeber the URL...

Well...have a nice day...

I think its RAMA, not Ramna. If you go to rendezvouswithrama.com they have a bit of info about the Morgan Freeman led production.

Who wouldn't pay good money to see an epic sci-fi film, penned by Arthur C. Clarke, in which earth is visited by a race of adolescent male martial artists who turn into cute red-haired girls when drenched with cold water?

Sorry...I couldn't resist. :b

It's Rendezvous With Rama, and the spelling is "Clarke" -- thread title changed to reflect that.

I was looking forward to seeing RWR on the big screen but it seems the buzz has died and seemingly, so has the project. Too bad.

Bump.

Just went to that website above, and it's still there, but apparently no news. Nothing via a google search to indicate the project is stopped, but nothing really new either.

So.... any news?

Thanks, Dan
