Thanks for the review. I haven't yet got around to ordering this disc but I'll rectify that today.

It sounds like Paramount didn't do a decent clean-up on the transfer, which is disappointing. I suppose they thought that this was an obscure catalogue title & wasn't worth the extra work, but even doing it manually wouldn't break the bank (one person on de-spotting duty for a couple of days) & I'm thinking that every project they work on should be finished properly as a matter of course. As for the film, it doesn't have the same free-wheeling originality as Tom Jones & it doesn't do anything for me (I last saw it on an obscure TV channel a couple of years ago & didn't make it to the end).
